Weather. Snow. Ice. Kids. Electricity. Traffic. Distance. Drivers. Car. Construction. Time. Miles. Sick. Stress. Tired. In January, I was motivated and ready for the new semester. The new classes, new people, and new things I was going to learn was exciting. The weather stinks however. I hate winter. I hate cold. I definitely hate snow and ice on the roads and refuse to drive when they take over my route somewhere. When the school closes and class gets postponed it is nice at first. But then you start to realize that now is another day behind you're going to be. More time to study for that test, but then it gets boring going over the same information. Another snow day makes you wonder if the professor is going to have time to discuss all the chapters for the midterm.
There are disruptions in school and being a good student. Just like in life there are disruptions. I started college right after high school till I realized I wasn't ready for that. I started again a few years later but missed some days and knew my grades were not helping me so I quit. Now years later here I am. No matter what path you choose in every stage of life, there will be bumps. Heck, there will be boulders. It only matters what you do with it. Do you let it shove you in another direction? Or do you break it apart and keep on trucking down the path you envision yourself? The choice is yours.
